The access road needs serious improvement, and a better WiFi signal in the rooms would be nice!!! On top of that, the distance from nearby towns can be a hassle for some travelers!!!

What an extraordinary experience! Tucked away in a breathtaking cloud forest, this lodging captures the essence of adventure. Trails leading to stunning waterfalls and unbelievable views of the Arenal Volcano enhanced our stay. The food was delightful, featuring fresh, locally sourced ingredients, and the staff, led by the knowledgeable manager, made us feel right at home.

The views from our room were amazing, especially the sunsets over the volcano. The trails nearby offered perfect hikes, and the cozy lobby made for an inviting chill spot after a long day outside.

The Superior Double Room was super spacious and the beds were really comfy. Great views when the clouds cleared. The room felt clean and welcoming. I really liked the big windows that opened up the space. No complaints about the room itself, just perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring.

Perfect for adventurous families

The food was fresh and local, and the owner, a wonderful man, made sure we had everything we needed to fully experience the area. The hike to the waterfall was steep but the view at the end was worth every ounce of effort.

It wasn’t exactly inexpensive but for the experience, it was fine.

The rustic charm means you'll feel more connected to the local culture than in a typical tourist hotel, making the stay a unique experience.

Vistaverde Lodge's architectural design, with its soaring wooden beams and vaulted ceilings, created a warm, inviting atmosphere. The spacious layout made it accessible and comfortable for seniors, allowing us to truly relax and enjoy our time there.

We enjoyed the breathtaking views and warm hospitality. The fresh, organic coffee at breakfast was a delightful surprise. Hiking to the nearby waterfall was a memorable adventure, though be prepared for some challenging trails. A 4x4 is a must for the rough roads.
