stunning views of Arenal, private cloud forest, hiking trail to waterfall
The access road needs serious improvement, and a better WiFi signal in the rooms would be nice!!! On top of that, the distance from nearby towns can be a hassle for some travelers!!!

The Superior Double Room was super spacious and the beds were really comfy. Great views when the clouds cleared. The room felt clean and welcoming. I really liked the big windows that opened up the space. No complaints about the room itself, just perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring.

Perfect for adventurous families
The food was fresh and local, and the owner, a wonderful man, made sure we had everything we needed to fully experience the area. The hike to the waterfall was steep but the view at the end was worth every ounce of effort.
It wasn’t exactly inexpensive but for the experience, it was fine.

great views but missing some amenities
Waking up with a view of El Arenal from my bed was astonishing. The friendly staff made my stay even more pleasant, going out of their way to assist. The breakfast room offered the perfect setting for watching the sunrise, which was a great bonus for my mornings.
The amenities could use improvement in some areas.

Located in a tranquil area, the lodge offered stunning views when the clouds cleared. The friendly staff prepared delicious meals, especially the fresh banana pancakes at breakfast, highlighting local flavors. However, the roads can be challenging to navigate at night, so driving during daylight is advisable. The rustic charm means you'll feel more connected to the local culture than in a typical tourist hotel, making the stay a unique experience.

The location and facilities are stunning, offering incredible views of Arenal lake and the volcano. The helpfulness of the staff made our stay even more enjoyable, as they went out of their way to accommodate us. The banana pancakes were a highlight of our meals, which were consistently excellent. However, the road leading up can be a bit tricky at night, so a heads-up would have been nice.

Nature Retreat with Stunning Views
We enjoyed the breathtaking views and warm hospitality. The fresh, organic coffee at breakfast was a delightful surprise. Hiking to the nearby waterfall was a memorable adventure, though be prepared for some challenging trails. A 4x4 is a must for the rough roads.
